I forgot about last week's newsletter so I'm just combining it with this one
Wait, was it last week? I've got no clue. Time has become a blur.
Hi! šš¼
So, itās been some timeā¦
Has it been a week? Or two? Iām not entirely sure because all the days and weeks have been blending together and my grasp on time has slipped because everything is a blur.
But Iām back and cannot wait to get back on track!
So, like before, hereās everything from the past week (or two weeks?) that has happened!
šµ this must be the music
I think you know which music Iāll be talking about ā really, itās the only music I have been talking about/listening to ā and that is of course the release of Taylor Swiftās Red (Taylorās Version).
The album has been on repeat since its release and I cannot get enough of it. Now, some may say āWell, it sounds the sameā but Iām here to tell you that itās completely different not just because she has added songs from the vault and a 10-minute version of āAll Too Wellā (eek!), but because she and her voice have matured and from everything that she has experienced throughout her career has made the emotions she conveys so much mature.
But aside from that, letās discuss the short film for āAll Too Well (Taylorās Version).ā Can we take a moment to clap for Dylan OāBrien (aka my birthday buddy) and Sadie Sinkās performances? šš¼šš¼šš¼
Also, a HUGE round of applause for Taylor directing her first short film and doing an amazing job at it! If you havenāt seen it yet, Iāve got you covered.
šŗ this must be the show
Huluās The Great is back with its second season and the laughs that this show has provided with me have helped me get through my week. If youāre someone who loves comedy, satire, and history, then this show is for you.
So, if youāre looking for a good laugh and a show that is great, then watch The Great!
š» this must be the interweb
If youāre like me and spend your time on the internet ā when you should actually be working on assignments for schoolā then you are aware of the solace that YouTube can bring when youāre just mindlessly watching some of your favorite channels or videos.
If youāre also like me and enjoy watching interviews of Andrew Garfield (especially him reading thirst tweets!) then you may already have seen his interview with GQ which was posted just a few days ago. In it, Andrew responds to fans on the internet, and the amount of Spider-Man posts he responds to had me squealing and grinning like crazy.
If youāre not familiar with the theories surrounding Andrew and him possibly being in the new Spider-Man film, join Marvel Twitter/TikTok. Itās a great place filled with memes, gifs, theories, etc., but of course, that depends on what side you end up on so proceed with caution.
Anywhoā¦ watch the video and just watch his other films because heās an amazing actor. I mean, we all know his iconic scene from The Social Network, right?
š this is the academic life
My first semester of grad school is almost over!
Itās absolutely insane how time has passed by so fast. It feels like yesterday when I began my first semester but damn, itās almost over. All the work that I have done and created has been stressful but it has helped me become a better journalist and overall, a more creative person.
Iām currently on break now but when I return next week, there will only be two weeks left (I thinkā¦? The schedule is all over the place and silly) but still, I will then be entering my second semester and I cannot wait to continue learning.
šø this must be the part where I talk about pop culture
Iām thinking I should just make a new heading thatās called āThis must be the part where I fangirl over Marvelā because this pop-culture section has mainly been about that.
But besides that, you guysā¦
The official trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home was released a couple of days ago and when I tell you that I was internally crying for a good two hours, I was an emotional wreck!
I have been waiting for this film ever since Spider-Man: Far From Home came out and no joke, as soon as they had a projected release date for the new film, itās been on my calendar ever since.
Also, if you didnāt know yet, you can buy tickets for the film on November 29th so get your tickets, my friends!
āØ this must be the end of the newsletter
Thanks so much for taking the time in reading my newsletter! Keep an eye out for the next one and until then, have an amazing week!
