Hello, I've missed you.
It's been a while but I'm back in your inbox with a TV series recommendation.
Hello again 👋🏼
I hope you’ve all been doing well. It’s been (checks calendar) a long time since I last shared a newsletter with you all, and a lot has happened.
Here’s a quick catch-up:
Did I see Spider-Man: No Way Home? Yes. Did I cry and squeal in the theater? Yes.
The last time I talked about school, I was tackling finals, but not anymore! I finished graduate school at NYU and am now tackling the world of pitching and finding a job 😭
In December 2022, Taylor Swift released her album, Midnights, and the constant singing I’ve done in my head of her song “Karma” is endless.
For the new year, I’ve decided as my resolution to read more, so in my spare time, I’ve committed myself to take on my ‘23 Books to Read in 2023’ list. So far, I’ve finished two books.
Okay, now back to the swing of things.
For Your TV Consideration…
HBO’s new series, The Last of Us, has had a great start since its premiere. The first episode garnered over 10 million viewers in two days, and just this week, the show was renewed for a second season.
I cannot express how excited I am to see this amazing story continue to unfold on TV. Ellie and Joel hold such a special place in my heart, and already, Pedro Pascal’s and Bella Ramsey’s performances as these characters are outstanding.
Aside from announcing its second season, the show’s third episode premieres tonight, has already received a 10/10 score on IMDb, and will touch base on the story of Bill and Frank.
New Music From Niall Horan? Say Less.
It’s been three years since Niall Horan released his sophomore album, Heartbreak Weather, and the heartbreak that I’ve been experiencing from waiting on him to release new music has been agonizing.
But not anymore.
After teasing fans for so long, just this week, Niall announced the release date of his newest single, ‘Heaven’ — which is also the place I’ll be ascending to when I finally hear new music from him.
✨ this must be the end of the newsletter
I know this comeback newsletter is short, but I’m excited to get back to writing these and appearing in your inbox. So keep an eye out for the next one, and until then, have a fantastic week!
